Financial Information
In joing Lakeshore Swim Club you need to understand and agree to meet the following obligations associated with the participation of your swimmers on the team.
All financial obligations must be met in order for swimmers to participate in practices, meets and to receive end-of-season awards.
These fees support the Lakeshore Swim Club; your team. They contribute to the LSC budget, which must support all operating expenses – administrative needs, coaches' salary and travel, meet and practice pool rentals, supplies, etc.
Required financial obligations are outlined below. The season runs from the first practice day in September to your swimmer's last meet in June or July.
Lakeshore Swim Club dues for the 2010-11 seasons comprises
- swimmer registration (Swim Canada and Swim Ontario fees)
- club dues
- meet fee escrow
Payment Options: Give directly to the club Treasurer.
- Pay full amount and submit with completed registration packet within 1 week of the start of practice
- Pay in three installment with post-dated cheques
Refunds
Meet fee escrow will be returned upon request and the account closed at any time during the season. Swimmer registration fees are non-refundable. The balance of club fees will be returned on a pro-rated basis, less the year's deposit value - provided a replacement for the swimmer can be found.
Equipment
Parents and swimmer agree to the requirements to purchase all equipment as defined by the club.
Fundraising
All families are expected to participate in fund-raising activities.
