Clothing
Annually the club will arrange for our equipment and clothing supplier to visit the pool for a 'try-on' day. During this time swimmers will have an opportunity to purchase both mandatory and optional equipment and other gear necessary for our club and sport.
For Practice
Swimmers may wear any style of swimsuit, cap or goggle they prefer. Swimmers should arrive with the following equipment properly adjusted and in good working order prior to the start of each session.
Bring - Water bottle, two(2) swim suits, two(2) goggles, caps are recommended for long hair, towel
COMP- 5 and 6 have mandatory equipment
Training Kit:
- Pull buoy
- Fins
- Hand paddles
- Finger paddles (optional)
- Snorkel (optional)
- Kick board (optional)
- Skipping rope(optional
- There Band (optional)
- Log Sheets (COMP-6)
Competitions
When we are at a meet we represent ourselves as a team. Team members must wear team apparel onto the deck. Senior members of the club are expected to set an example. Swimmers failing to bring the equipment may be asked to leave the meet. This includes,
- 2 x pairs of goggles
- LSC (Blue) cap
- Nike Backpack
- Lakeshore Jacket
- Lakeshore Pants
- Lakeshore t-shirt
- LSC team swim suit
- High Performance suit (must be black) optional
Swimmers should also be prepared for racing and have the following at hand.
- Sandals (worn whenever the swimmer leaves the deck)
- Towels
- At least two drinks bottles (700ml+)
- Snacks eg. energy bars/ bananas
