Lakeshore Swim Club is a Nike Team!!

I'm not going to go burden you with all of the details about the agreement, but it's been four years (2 x two-year agreements) a positive give and a take situation. Basically, we agree to wear and purchase Nike Swim products (suits, backpacks, warm-ups) and Nike outifts our coaching staff, outfits our National Team (Eastern's, Age Group Qualifiers and above with additional perks), provides our team banner and provides discounts on warm-ups, backpacks and high end technical suits on one major team order per year for everybody on the team that must be done through a team dealer.

What If We Already Have Non-Nike Apparel and Suits?

Please keep in mind that as an individual, you are not obligated or required to purchase anything unless it is part of the membership agreement (have a good-looking jacket and pants and backpack). This agreement applies to the team as a whole and you are in no way required to buy something you don't need or want. If you already own swim suits, warm ups, back packs that are from other companies like Speedo, TYR, that's perfectly fine. You don't have to throw them away or anything like that. You are even free to wear them and use them as much as you like during warm-ups or practice. However, in the future, in order to help the team move forward with Nike, we encourage you to purchase Nike Products and wear them at meets. Nike will not be out "policing" our general meets, but we will encourage you to wear Nike whenever possible.

Nike Swim Suits:

Every member of the team must own at least one Nike 'club' suit. You are encouraged but under no obligation to purchase a high-performance suit. High-performance suits must ber approved by the coach so don't buy one without speaking to them.

If you plan to purchase a suit of any sorts in the future, whether it be a practice suit, a general meet suit or a top end technical suit for championship competition, please check out the Nike suit first.
