Lakeshore Swim Club

LSC Families,

Wednesday September 7, 2011 is our try on date for team uniforms, swim suits and equipment.  Team Aquatics will have a mini-store set up at Gus Ryder Pool. 

This year let's try things a bit differently.

Returning Swimmer - between the hours of 5:00 pm and 6:30 pm

NEW Swimmers - between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:00pm

We will have sizing charts, team uniforms, and fitted equipment.  There will also be a selection of practice suits, goggles and other equipment you may want to buy at Team pricing.

There have been no changes to the team uniform or equipment this year.  However, please keep in mind the following:

Swimwear

·         Practice suit – choice – two suits recommended for practice

·         Competition/racing suit –

·         all swimmers must own a basic LSC blue Nike suit.

·         Check again if you have a decent suit.  Growth spurts, see through suits make for an awkward first meet.

·         High performance suits may be worn with the permission of the group coach.

·         Only black suits allowed .. no other color accepted

Goggles – choice – two pair recommended

Swim Caps

·         Practice cap – choice (recommend two in bag at all times)

·         Competition Cap – must be LSC cap.  Personalized with name (like last year) is optional.  (you'll go through 1 to 5 in a season)

Team Uniforms

·         If swimmers have both component pieces, and they are in good repair, then they are good for the season

Pants - mandatory

Jacket - mandatory

·         Remember – swimmers not wearing their uniforms or competitive suits on deck will be asked to go back home and get them.

T-shirts

·         All swimmers must purchase a t-shirt

Nike Back Pack

·         All swimmers must have a Nike Backpack. 

·         No Speedo or TYR bags at competition.

Equipment

·         COMP-5 (there will be a kit-check this year during the fall)

Kit must include and be available at every practice …

·         Mesh bag

·         Fins

·         Pullbuoy

·         Paddles

Optional equipment

·         Tempo pacer

·         Band

·         Snorkel

·         COMP-4

Kit is optional (but recommended)

Attached is an order form.  

You are going to need to bring cheque and credit card.

• You must bring a cheque to pay for the LSC order in full that evening. Order forms will not be accepted if there is no cheque attached.  Cheques are to be made payable to Lakeshore Swim Club.
• If you are purchasing directly from Team Aquatic Supplies they will accept Credit Cards.
