On the weekend of May 8 - 10 four of our Lakeshore girls competed in the 14 & Under Provincial Water Polo Championships at the Etobicoke Olympium. Danielle Bisaillon, Jaime Kavanagh, Beatrice McDonagh-Chamyk and Sarah Myers joined the York Mavericks girls team in playing 5 exciting games on the weekend. With a short bench (only one sub the whole weekend) the girls got lots of playing time. The end result was a GOLD medal and a provincial championship as they beat Ottawa's team 4-3 in overtime! Recently converted to goalie and playing in her first tournament, Danielle Bisaillon was named best goalie of the event. Congratulations to all involved.
