Introduction to Equipment & Apparel

We are pleased to again be partnering with Mizuno for our apparel kit!  

Our apparel kit includes a Lakeshore branded technical dry fit t-shirt, a logo hoodie, an Organizer backpack with the swimmer’s name on the pocket and 2 non-personalized swim caps for training and competition

For Returning members, a new Mizuno t-shirt will be included with your registration fees at no extra charge, with a goal to distribute these at practices prior to the Blue vs Yellow Meet.  Your kit from prior years will still be current and no additional purchases are required unless you have lost or outgrown an item! 

It is required that every competitive swimmer wear their t-shirts with pride during dryland training, and their swim caps to practise. Both current logo and vintage logo t-shirts and caps are acceptable for training.

If you require a new t-shirt, hoodie, or caps, please contact apparel@lakeshoreswimclub.com so that we can provide you with new gear at the per-item price which will be provided in our reply and based upon the volume of orders and logo printing costs at that time.

We will also be running a separate opportunity to order personalized swim caps (price tbd) with your swimmer’s name below the logo, during the first two weeks of September.  There is a minimum purchase of 2 caps per swimmer, and a bulk order requirement of 40 caps before we can place an order.  Price to be confirmed based on volume, but in the range of $25 plus tax per cap.  Non-personalized cap purchases are typically $14.95 plus tax in comparison.

New logo Mizuno backpacks may also be purchased if you did not purchase one last year with your kit.  The price for a solo backpack is $75.00 including personalization at current prices.

New members will receive a complete kit as noted above including a technical dry fit Lakeshore-branded t-shirt, hoodie, a mesh bag to carry swim appliances and a personalized backpack, and 2 non-personalized caps at a cost of $194 plus tax.  This charge will be applied directly to your account upon delivery of the kit, which we hope to have completed by the end of September.  

If new members wish to upgrade their non-personalized caps to have a last name included, there will be an estimated surcharge of $10 per cap ($20 total for 2 minimum) which can be done when the order personalization window opens.

Our partner Splashables (50 Paxman Rd, Unit 4, Etobicoke), can provide you with any appliances required by your swimmers coach including kickboards, fins, paddles and pull buoys, and they have a complete list of our required items by competitive group.

Mizuno will also open an online store for non-branded, optional items in September, all of which will coordinate with your required apparel kit, and will ship directly to you at home.  These items will be discounted at 25% off their standard price.
